No, you don't! Sign up now so you're ready to go the next time you're not feeling well or simply have a health or medical question for one of our expert physicians. That ensures you'll have on-demand, personalized care at your fingertips when you need it, and without the cost of a traditional visit.

We're a healthcare company bringing personalized consultation, diagnosis and treatment to you via the convenience of technology.

Q: Who are your doctors?
Our service is staffed by carefully selected, board-certified physicians. They're passionate about making health care more accessible and affordable for all patients. They have been specially trained to listen carefully to your health concerns and issues to offer high-quality, personalized care. Q: How much does your service cost?
While our product is in development, we're offering our service for free. No co-pay is required. Texting or data fees may apply. In addition, users are responsible for the cost of any prescriptions or in-person referral care.

Q: Is your service available across the United States?
Our physicians are currently licensed in Washington state. Please note you must be physically present in Washington state at the time you use our service. We're working to license our doctors in more states across the country and will update our website as additional states are added.

Q: Do I need health insurance to use your service?
Not at all. To chat with a 98point6 physician, all you need to do is create a free account. There's no cost for the visit, and no insurance is needed.

Q: Can my family also use the service?
Anyone over the age of 18 who is located in Washington state at the time of the visit can use the 98point6 service. Please note all family members must create their own account. See below for directions on how to create an account.

Q: What kind of a device do I need to use 98point6?
For the best experience, you can download our app on an iOS or android device through the App Store or Google Play Store. You can also use a web browser (such as Chrome or Firefox) on a mobile device or desktop.

Q: What can I use 98point6 for?
You can use 98point6 for nearly all non-urgent health issues and questions. You'll save yourself a trip across town to an in-person doctor's visit and get a consultation directly from a board-certified physician. Common conditions we treat include, but are not limited to, the following:

98point6 is not for emergencies. This service does not address life-threatening, serious or chronic conditions. If you're experiencing an emergency please call 9-1-1. If you have a chronic condition, you should see your regular doctor. This service is not meant to replace the relationship you have with existing health care professionals.

Q: Do I need to schedule an appointment?
You don't - you simply sign in to our service to start chatting with a doctor.

Q: If I need it, can the doctor write a prescription? Can you send it to a specific pharmacy?
Yes, our doctors can and do write prescriptions. At the end of your visit, if the physician decides a prescription is part of your treatment plan, we will send it to your preferred pharmacy.

Q: Is my chat with the doctor private? Are my medical records stored securely?
We are deeply committed to protecting the confidentiality and privacy of our patients' personal information. We have established policies in accordance with HIPAA regulations and all employees receive training in privacy and security requirements. Our applications and cloud services are designed to conform with industry security standards and safeguards for protection of patient data.

Your First Visit

Q: How do I sign in for the first time?
All you need to create a free account or to sign in to 98point6 is a mobile phone number. Your mobile number serves as your account number and best of all, there’s no password to remember. After entering your mobile number, we’ll send you a text to confirm it’s you. Visit to sign up or sign in to the service.

Q: What will my first visit be like?
You’ll sign in to 98point6 and enter some basics about yourself before requesting care. A doctor will chat with you to assess your symptoms and determine a diagnosis. The doctor will then explain your diagnosis and treatment plan, leaving time for you to ask additional questions. Your care plan will be available shortly after the visit, and any necessary prescriptions will be sent to your preferred pharmacy.

Q: How do I find my care plan?
Once you're signed in to 98point6, you can access all your previous visits by selecting "Care Plans" from the main navigation.


Q: What happens if I don't receive the authentication text/SMS message I requested?
You must be in Washington state in order to receive care. If you are in the state and you didn't receive a text/SMS message, please check the connectivity of your phone (make sure your data is in range and/or your Wi-fi is turned on). Once you've confirmed connectivity and still haven't received the code, you may request another. Once you receive a code, it's good for five minutes before it expires.
